During Second Chance Month, Mavrik Village’s founder, Waunita Scott, received a mayoral citation. The recognition came from Mayor Brandon Scott and 7th District City Councilman James Torrence for her work with the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (MONSE) Re-Entry Action Council.
